Despite our best efforts introducing rigorous hygiene measures to protect our club from the spread of the virus infection, on the recommendation of the authorities we were required to close our club from midday the 23rd of March. Unfortunately, this was necessary to comply with the national lock down measures.
We want to express our enormous gratitude to all our loyal members for their support, patience and offer to help during this disruption. We are truly blessed to have such a great members base and we look forward to returning to training and what we all love doing as soon as the authorities advise that it is safe to do so.
We had a very successful start of the competition season at the first Interclub comp few weeks ago. The year indeed looked to be very promising with a lot of our fighters gearing up for upcoming competitions in various ring disciplines, however the circumstances have changed more rapidly than what majority have expected with events being cancelled one by one and finally the lock down has been introduced. Nevertheless, we believe that this is just a minor set back for a major comeback!
Further updates will be announced here and via our Facebook page on the 13th of
April unless the government changes the rules before. Meanwhile, we will be
suspending all membership arrangements during the lock down period to go in
line with the government’s advice.
Should you need any help or advice regarding self-organised training during the suspension period please do not hesitate to leave a message on 0416 522 744.
Maintain a healthy lifestyle, stay positive and we will be back soon!
