Congratulations to boxers out of Prestige Gym Melbourne on strong performance at The National Golden Gloves 2016 held from the 25th to the 28th of August at Brisbane’s Acacia Ridge in Queensland.
In an epic boxing tournament over four days with close to 500 boxers across all age, gender and weight divisions boxers out of Prestige won two silver medals by Mel and Johnny and gold by Kristen who put brilliant performance outclassing both of the opponents in her division!
Kearney unfortunately didn’t make it to the finals due to a very questionable defeat against a local boxer from Queensland in the semi finals,however he made the whole team proud of his performance.
Well done guys and congratulations not only on your effort and the result but also for being such great team mates!!!
